About TOKKOU 〜特攻〜 Fashion - London pop-up shop in W11 2QA: 21/09/2018 (Fri) - 02/10/2018 (Tue)

The tokkou-fuku is worn by the bosozoku – who first appeared in the 1970s and were known to have over 800 different teams in its prime. The sotsuran is worn by many students during their graduation ceremony. These works of art are used to express team names and beliefs with words and illustrations. At 〜特攻〜TOKKOU we have modernised their designs to share this culture with the world.TOKKOU 〜特攻〜 is a Japanese fashion brand. A History of Bosozoku

1:Kaminarizoku - カミナリ族:Kaminarizoku (literally, lightning tribe), first seen in the 1950s, is often referred to as the precursors of the bosozoku (biker gangs). Those in the group were children of upper-class families who could afford motorcycles, which were considered as expensive luxuries at the time. The bosozoku were not violent; they were more focused on speed like the hashiriya (street racers). The name kaminarizoku comes from the fact that their motorcycles would make thunderous noises with their mufflers removed and the way they would zigzag through traffic like a stroke of lightning.The Honda CB72 was a motorcycle that was popular among the kaminarizoku. The 2019 Spring/Summer collection is titled Shining in the Dark. We designed the collection in the hope that the wearer shines even while riding their motorcycle in the dark.  ■ T-shirt & Long T-ShirtFabric name: Lyocell Cotton Other fibres (lyocell) 50%, Cotton 50%・Soft to the touch and has a moderate sheen.
